| About Our Pottery | About The Artisan | Established in 1991 by Canadian potter Daniel Maxwell and his wife Jodi, Maxwell Pottery produces a wide variety of decorative, functional stoneware. Each pot starts as a ball of clay. Using a strong stoneware, all work is made on the pottery wheel or is hand built. With his own recipe of glaze colors, Daniel hand paints each piece in one of his many unique designs. This durable lead free pottery is MICROWAVE, DISHWASHER AND OVEN SAFE. Unique designs, bright colors and impeccable craftsmanship has made Maxwell Pottery one of the pre-eminent production studios in Canada. We try our best to maintain consistency but due to the nature of handmade pottery there may be slight variations in size and shape.
